Apple a lansat noua versiune a iPhone, iPhone 4S. Noul director al Apple, Tim Cook, a făcut onorurile de la sediul central al Apple, aceasta fiind prima lansare importantă a unui produs din ultimii ani care va avea loc în lipsa lui Steve Jobs.

Modelul iPhone 4S, care va fi mai rapid, mai subţire şi cu un ecran mai mare, va intra pe piaţă la timp pentru sezonul cumpărăturilor de iarnă şi ar trebui să ajute Apple să păstreze distanţa faţă de principalul concurent, Samsung Electronics.
